Boxer® spirit level 1200 mm

A spirit level is used to see if something is level, i.e. horizontally or vertically level. You do this by checking the small air bubble in the vial. The spirit level has at least one liquid vial to check the horizontal, but they also commonly have a vial to check the vertical. A spirit level is used for putting up cabinets, shelves, flat screen televisions, pictures, windows, doors, etc. A spirit level can also be used for slightly more complicated tasks, e.g. if you place a 5 mm block under one end of a one-metre-long spirit level, you can use it to create a gradient of 5 mm per metre, etc.
