In its simplest form, ladder golf involves the participants taking turns throwing their ladder golf balls towards the ladder with the goal of getting the balls to stick to the steps. Depending on which step the balls stick to, the player is awarded either 1, 2 or 3 points. The first player to reach 21 points wins.
